    HR MANAGER –  This new position will report to the Controller and work closely with the President and other members of the Senior Leadership Team. The HR Manager will drive profitable revenue growth by developing and executing the company’s HR strategy, including direct responsibility for: recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, and training new positions; assisting company leaders in regular performance reviews; implementing and managing performance-based compensation plans; and introducing economical health benefits. Experience in identifying, evaluating, and hiring top performing inside and outside salespeople, along with sales support roles, is critical. The HR Manager must be able to successfully recruit and work with a range of positions, from executive team members to hourly employees. Continuously raising the bar for potential new employees, both to maintain the company’s core customer-focused values and to increase company-wide performance, is a must. Leadership and teamwork are critical parts of the HR Manager’s role (and Nova Flex’s culture), as is a highly analytical orientation and a strong desire to learn and apply new ideas. This position does not have any direct reports, so a hands-on, player/coach approach is necessary.

    • Leads the Talent Acquisition process, ensuring the timely, efficient and cost-effective sourcing and selection of top talent. Collaborates with Senior Leaders in developing staffing plans that support the achievement of the aggressive growth goals of the business. Ensures the consistent hiring of outstanding employees.
    • Designs, develops and administers the organization’s Talent Management processes, and ensures the alignment of monetary and non-monetary rewards and recognition with individual contributions, Team performance and company financial results.
    • Develops, implements, and administers the Total Rewards program – – base compensation, incentive compensation, healthcare benefits and retirement savings program — for the organization in a manner that allows the company to be competitive in the marketplace, while also ensuring the alignment with the company’s financial resources with its business objectives, vision, mission, and values. Educate employees and potential candidates on the value of benefits offered by the company.
    • Collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team to build consistently high levels of Team member engagement through supervisory development, talent management, and proactive communication initiatives.
    • Measure and report on performance with an HR scorecard including: turnover, retention, employee performance, employee engagement, time to fill open positions, etc.
    • Provides Leadership, support and oversight for the Safety and Wellness of all Team members through proactive planning and programs. Instills the philosophy that all workplace injuries are avoidable, and partners with other Senior Leaders to ensure compliance with OSHA and regulations related to employee safety and product quality.
    • Serves as the organizational learning, knowledge management, and training and development resource of the organization. Assesses training needs for the entire organization and develops programs and designs curriculums that will foster a culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
    • Partners with the Senior Leadership Team to plan business and human resource strategies, business objectives and financial goals, to develop organizational policies, and to successfully address and resolve organizational challenges.
    • Directs the development and implementation of organization-wide policies, procedures and compliance programs regarding employment law, orientation and onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, safety and security, drug-free workplace, and ADA and EEO compliance.
    • Directs all company human resource activities except for payroll processing.
    • Ensures that uniform standards of working hours, overtime, vacations, leaves of absence, holidays, and related policy areas are maintained.
    • Has a solid understanding of all aspects of the business, including business strategies, performance measures, financial reporting, competitors, customers, and external marketplace issues and is skilled in functional areas related to these components in order to effectively contribute to the development of the annual business plan and business strategies.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required, SPHR and/or Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years related experience with proven success in leading human resources functions – especially sourcing, recruiting, evaluating, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees – in high growth, dynamic, and fast-paced business environments. Experience working in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments and / or lighting, electronics, and IoT a plus.
    • Experience hiring internal and external sales professionals that consistently deliver results strongly preferred.
    • Proven track record of being a hands-on and collaborative leader of corporate Human Resources functions.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable goals.
    • Significant business knowledge with the ability to understand, work with, and assist Leaders achieve their business goals and effectively manage the related human capital implications.
    • Credibility as a trusted advisor and confidant to senior management.
    • Knowledge of, and proven capability in organizational development techniques, performance management and employment law.
    • Knowledgeable of the economics of the business and the dynamics of the industry, customers and competitors.
    • Effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts and proposals.

    REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE –  This position will generate business by growing relationships and revenue from existing accounts, while identifying and contacting prospects providing world-class customer service and building strong relationships. Most communication will be handled over the phone, though occasional travel to visit a customer or attend a travel show may be necessary. 

    • Develops new Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Identifies and contacts prospective Accounts to generate sales revenue.
    • Builds and maintains effective professional relationships with new and existing Agents.
    • Handles inquiries and possesses detailed knowledge about company products and services.
    • Identifies new business opportunities and initiates communication with decision makers.
    • Conducts reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate Customers’ needs.
    • Prepares and reports market analysis, competitor analysis, and market trends.
    • Develops plans and works with Agent to implement strategies for new and existing Accounts.
    • Coordinates with Quotations and Orders Processing Associate to prepare quotes and review orders.
    • Assists with quotes for large orders, including designing layouts.
    • Develops and helps refine scripts for value proposition introduction to prospective Accounts over the phone.
    • Performs industry and online research to maximize opportunity for successful sales.
    • Composes and sends out follow-up correspondence and collateral as necessary. 
    • Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities, as assigned.


    • Associate’s Degree is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
    • Must possess the ability to identify sales opportunities and develop new Accounts.
    • Must achieve or exceed all performance standards associated with role.
    • Must possess the ability to meet sales goals, quality and efficiency standards, and world-class customer experience scores.

    QUOTATIONS ASSOCIATE –  This position will assist in quickly responding to quote requests from new and existing Accounts. This role will prepare quotes, develop technical drawings, and maintain information in our Salesforce database. The Quotations Associate will provide world-class customer service and build strong relationships with our internal partners and external Accounts. Nearly all of the Quotations duties will be handled through queue management or over the phone. You will also enjoy assisting new and existing Accounts implement our innovative lighting solutions in a variety of residential and commercial applications.

    • Assists in day-to-day Sales Representative and Agent communications and relationships.
    • Creates quotes for new order requests and new purchase orders.
    • Support cross functional needs such as returned goods (RGA), order processing and inbound calls.
    • Meets customer needs, offers solutions, resolves problems and provides timely follow-up with Accounts.
    • Ensures that Accounts know how to use the company’s products and provides assistance if necessary.
    • Prepares and edits technical drawings for quote proposals.
    • Develops design layouts for quote proposals.
    • Offers technical troubleshooting and installation assistance for end users.
    • Maintains data in Salesforce software.
    • Interacts with and relates to key decision makers in businesses of all sizes.
    • Composes and sends out follow-up correspondence and collateral as necessary.
    • Serving as a backup when other employees are out.
    • Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities, as assigned


    • Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree is preferred.
    • Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
    • Must achieve quality and efficiency standards, and world-class customer experience scores for new and existing Accounts.
    • Deals comfortably over the phone with all types of individuals.
    • Ability to actively engage in telephone conversations with prospects, new and existing Accounts.
    • Knowledge of or Customer Relationship Management software and Microsoft Office a plus.
    • Must have a strong attention to detail.
